| Had to get a green one since it's her favorite color! |

| So proud to pick his 1st pumpkin! Although quite concerned over the mud! |
They were each quite proud of themselves for picking the perfect pumpkin that they could carry. Not sure what they were all yelling when I took the picture, but whatever it was, they were in unison!
Birthday Girl!
Karis turned 7 yesterday! We had her friend party last week and boy was that an experience. I let her invite whoever she wanted thinking we'd have 6 or 7 girls. Well she ran out of invitations and just started inviting little girls from her class to come. So we had a houseful of screaming and happy girls. My the screams are shrill at age 7! She had requested a Tangled theme so that was what we did. She wore a long blond braid and a tiara. The cupcakes were multi-colored to represent that painting Tangled does. We also did lizard sun catchers to represent the painting and Pascal the lizard. They made sand art bracelets too. We played pass the baby Tangled to the tune of Tangled music. And then had cheese zombies for dinner. That was her request. It was a really fun time and the next day she told me how much she LOVED her party, so that made it all worth it!
Yesterday I took her to Red Robin during school for lunch. Then I brought cupcakes to school. Then Emmett and Hannah came over and we did gifts (she got the cute tutu and kitty shirt and hat from Grandma!), and then went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Brent met us there. It was a great time and the kiddos even all participated in the line dancing. Too cute. Oh Alex and Avery saw these kitty cookies about a month ago and have been dying to make them for Karis so we decided her Birthday would be a perfect day to do that. She loved them. Such a kitty lover she is!!

Avery's Awesome Day
Today Avery managed to pull her 2nd tooth out!! It was hanging there and I was trying like anything to get up my nerve to pull it out for her. She was sobbing and begging for Daddy who was at work and handles these things much better. I was trying so hard to act like I wasn't horrified and gagging at the thought of getting the tooth out, but apparently wasn't pulling it off very well. When all of a sudden she reached in and goes, "Got it!" and pulled it out! She was so proud of herself and said, "I'm only five, and you're like way older, and you were freaked out, and I wasn't, so I pulled it out!" What a girl!
Also it was her snack/share day at school and thanks to Pinterest (my new addiction) I found these great ideas for snacks! On Monday Alex took little baggies of raisins, pretzel sticks, and marshmallows with little tags I made that said, "bug eyeballs, skeleton bones, and ghost poop". The children loved them according to the twins. Hopefully, they will love Avery's snack today too.
And finally....could they be any cuter??!!! I just love them so much that I got all teary eyed working on these photos!!
Halloween Crafting
Last week the kids had Thurs/Friday off and they do this week too! So on Thursday we had a fun and cozy day. It was pretty chilly that day so we stayed in our jammies and made some Halloween crafts. They each made a little mask and also several little decorations that we hung from out lights.....I was quite busy assisting, so didn't manage to get too many pictures taken! Later that day we went with Emmett to Cars 2 at the cheap movie theater. It was lots of fun!! Although my kids were ready to leave half way through the movie.....quite the attention spans they have let me tell you....wonder where they got that!

Feather Girl
The subtle little feather Avery had put in her hair last weekend. What a trendy little thing she is!
New Hair Styles
The girls really, really wanted to dye their hair. So I let them do just a little portion. (Wink-Wink) The cool thing is, they can change the color everyday. Thanks to our favorite place ever.....Claires! Love that you can buy little hair extensions and the girls really think they have their friends at school fooled. Well....maybe they do.....
