So another amazing thing our neighborhood does each summer is to put on a children's play. This year they did Alice in Wonderland. Hailey and Karis were each a dancing flower and Hailey even had a speaking part. She said, "She needs more petals!"
Let me tell you this play was a much bigger deal than I thought it would be! For the past month they practiced 2-3 times a week for up to two hours! This past week they practiced everyday for 2 hours. Since it was at a park here in the neighborhood Alex and Avery ended up spending a lot of time playing in the sand!! It actually worked out really well except on the really hot days. There were lots of other neighborhood moms and kids there so it was really quite fun.
I couldn't believe some of the costumes.....the girls just had to get their pictures with the Queen of Hearts and Alice. It was so cute...back stage Karis would always try and end up sitting by one of the "big" girls....and would tell me how nice they were. Over 60 kids were in the play and it was amazing!! Mrs. A Hailey's teacher even came to watch!! How nice is that?! It was a great time and the girls can't wait to be in another play. They did however say they both would like a bigger part next time!!

Love these photos! Can't believe how grown up the girls are. Miss all of you! p.s. does watching Alice in Wonderland kind of make you want to go to Disneyland?
