Last Sunday on Karis' Birthday we decided to carve pumpkins. We had planned on going to the Pumpkin Patch but it was pouring rain and cold so Karis and I went to Winco and picked out some pumpkins. The kiddos loved designing their own and then having Daddy carve them. Once again Alex had the "deer in the headlights look" at first as we were digging into the pumpkins and getting all the guts out. But once he saw how fun it was he joined right in. The kiddos also really wanted to hang their paintings outside so I finally did. As you can see it looks super classy. ☺ Alex was so excited about how scary the decorations looked that he had to pose as a ghost for the picture.
