Well Memorial Day Weekend didn't exactly turn out how we planned because on Friday Karis started throwing up. We had planned on spending some time in Yakima and then Prosser but decided not to infect anyone so stayed home Friday night. Good thing since she ended up throwing up 11 times. Not fun. So Saturday I had the pleasure of accompanying my mom to assist Rach with some pre-wedding stuff. We watched her try on a dress and then helped her register. I then decided one should get to re-register after being married for 10 years. After all- a lot less people make it 10 years than get married so it is cause for celebration. And the stuff is so much nicer now- oh if I could go back and choose again! Anyway the throwing up stopped so we headed to Prosser Sunday morning. We stayed at Derrick and Vickie's and it was so great. They have 4 wonderful boys ranging in age from 12-17. The boys are so great with the girls and the girls loved them. Today we headed over to Scott's Dads for the peony harvest. We weren't very helpful because it is a lot of work and 3 little girls aren't very conducive to peony picking. But we did have tons of fun seeing lots of family and doing a little picking. Wow- I admire the ones who are out there from dawn until dusk every year for several weeks!!!
It was a great weekend- the weather was beautiful right until we drove into the burg. 85 in Yakima and 73 and very, very windy here. WHY?!!! Hope you all had a great weekend too!!
