Dashing Through The Snow

We took the girls up to Suncadia (the new resort about half an hour from here) for Winterfest. They have all kinds of fun activities every weekend in December. The girls love singing Jingle Bells and keep asking us to go "Dashing Through the Snow" so we decided to oblige. Unfortuneatly there wasn't enough snow for them to ride in the sleigh pulled by horses but they did have the wagon. Thankfully the girls didn't realize the difference and had a delightful time. They also had sleddogs pulling sleds but we will do that next year...it was getting kind of cold. The girls also did some crafts and cookie decorating and the lodge is filled with really elaborate Gingerbread houses....what I was most excited to see....and then we forgot!! I guess that is the way it is...you focus so much on the kids you forget what you wanted to do.....oh well....maybe next year!
