So I just got back from Albertsons and spent $11 and saved over $35!! Here's how:
I bought 10 Quaker items for 10 for $25- when you spend $25 you get $10 off- so for $15...and then I happened to have several coupons from the Sunday paper a few weeks back. I had two 50 centers for the instant oatmeal but they were out...being the bold bargain shopper I am I asked the guy if he would honor them on the Quaker oatmeal instead and he said, "why not?" So I got those large containers of good Quaker oatmeal for $1!! And I bought that new harvest hot cereal which is usually $4.99 for $1.50- one was only 80 cents because I had a 70 cent coupon. So run to Albertsons and stalk up on your hot cereal and granola bars...I got the new sweet/salty ones for 80 cents also because of the 70 cent coupons! See Andrea...you can have snacks and be on a budget!
Tomorrow I am headed to Super One for the 12 hour sale...butter is 98 cents, so are eggs! Cream cheese and cool whip are 68 cents! And GM cereal for $1.88 and I still have the dollar coupons I took off all the boxes this summer!! It is going to be one exciting day!
