Yesterday we celebrated Hailey and Grandma's Birthdays! It is so special to me and to Grandma too that her first great-grand-daughter was born on her Birthday! When I think back 5 years I can't believe all that has happened in Scott and my life. We have loved being parents so much and Hailey has brought us so much joy. She was such an easy baby and our adjustment to family life came so naturally because of that! She is a wonderful big sister and a very creative and spiritual little girl. She amazes us with her questions about God and her knowledge of Him in her life. Birthdays are always bitter sweet for me......sad that my baby is getting older and more independant but happy for the same reasons.

The party was lots of fun. Rachael even made the drive from Canby, and Grandpa Hoefer and Uncle Farrell came all the way from Prosser. (Deb was sick so we missed her). Papa and "Gamma" and Andrew came along with all of Hailey's cousins and most of the aunts and uncles! The little girls played some games and Hailey had a great time opening her presents!! Thanks everyone for your love and support. It means so much to all of us to have you around us for these fun events!

It was such a "sweet" party! Emmett and Avery had a lot of fun in their high chairs...I think a lot of their food transferred to each other.
