4th of July was lots of fun! We went to Papa and Gamma's and they had a new water slide for the kids! They had a blast! The funny thing was I expected Ella to be the brave one leading the way but it was Hailey and Karis- usually they are more timid. Even Emmett got in on the action. Sadie was with her cousin in Seattle celebrating his first Birthday. We missed her!
We all had a great time. Then we went to Drew's baseball game and he did a great job pitching as usual! Then we came back to my parent's and had ice-cream pie and then left around 9 to come back to E-burg.
This was the first year we decided to keep the girls up for fireworks! We actually got the BEST spot in town. We went to Scott's office and could see them all like they were right in front of us! He has a big window on the 2nd story. It was great, no wind, no freezing, no walking, no trying to park, no sitting in traffic when it was all over. We plan to sell tickets next year. The girls LOVED it. I am so glad we kept them up 3 hours past their bedtime. In fact Karis is still sleeping now and it is almost 10. Avery woke up at 8 and is a little cranky but not bad and Hailey is fine. So it was worth it! Happy late 4th to all of you and Happy Birthday to my Dad and the girl's Papa today!! We love you and you are a great Dad and Papa!!

The waterslide looks like fun! I wondered why I didn't see you guys out at the fireworks event at West Ellensburg Park. (I was working) Hiding out in the office, huh...what a brilliant idea!
